McDanieltown Rd, and Cottageville Highway was the scene of two vehicle collision on May 7. Three people were injured, one critically, after two vehicles collided around 5:55 pm during a severe thunderstorm. Colleton County Fire-Rescue ambulances responded to the incident and treated all three patients at the scene.
A private ambulance drove up on the accident and began administering care to the injured prior to First Responders arriving. Two patients were transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston and a third patient was transported to Colleton Medical Center. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
