Brian D. Jetter 23 from Pennsylvania was arrested for the June 19th, 2023 Green Pond house fire that seriously injured a male occupant of the home and killed a 28 year old parrot named “Grey Beard”.
Jetter who was a former tenant of the home was charged with 1st degree Arson and Cruelty to Animals.
Jeter was arrested on August 20th, 2024 and was denied bond. He is being held at the Colleton County Detention Center.
