Colleton County Fire-Rescue, Walterboro Police Department and the Colleton County Sheriff’s Department responded to an incident involving a 23-year-old male who was shot multiple times on Blanchard Street Tuesday evening, June 18th. A 911 call reported a man was shot and lying in the yard of a residence on the corner of Blanchard St. and Proctor Street. Law enforcement arrived, secured the scene and Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics began treating the man in the yard. Fire-Rescue transported the man to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in critical condition. The Walterboro Police Department is investigating the incident.
