An adult male was seriously injured in a single vehicle MVC on Green Pond Hwy (SC Hwy 303) at Windy Hill Lane Thursday morning July 4 at 6:15 am. The southbound car left the roadway in a curve and entered the ditch. The vehicle struck a tree stump and flipped over several times, landing on the wheels. The driver received multiple traumatic injuries. Firefighter-Paramedics treated him at the scene, then transported him emergent in Fire-Rescue Medic 6 to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. No medical helicopters could fly due to fog. The SC highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
