Colleton County’s Emergency Manager, Deputy Chief Dr. David Greene, presented on Aerial Reconnaissance, and how #yourColletonFirefighters used drones to survey flood damage related to TS Idalia. Drone footage provides a birds eye view for responders to check on homes or businesses that are not accessible by vehicles after a flood. The workshop was held at the South Carolina Emergency Management Division and was well attended by several County Emergency Managers from across the state.
