A nine-year-old male received multiple traumatic injuries in an ATV accident near the Town of Smoaks on Tuesday, June 11th. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics responded to the victim’s home and treated him at the scene. The child, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by the CARE Flight helicopter to the Children’s Trauma Center at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital at MUSC in Charleston.
