EHRHARDT – Mr. Carl Hamilton Williams, known by most as “Hammer”, age 56, entered into rest Tuesday morning, January 30, 2024, at his residence.
Born September 10, 1967, in Ehrhardt, he was the son of the late Carlo Williams and the late Sallie Murdaugh Williams. Hammer was an excellent and well-known diesel mechanic, having owned C. Williams and Son Mechanical. He was also a certified welder and Ford Master Mechanic for twenty years. He was a member of the South Carolina Cattleman’s Association.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Yvonne Hiers Williams; four children, Ashely Heather Williams of Walterboro, McKenzie Dobbins Reeves (John) of Walterboro, Carl Williams, II (Jillian) of Ehrhardt, and Brittany Williams Machajewski (Brandon) of Givhans; a sister, Karla Blackwell of Indiana; and seven grandchildren, Gracie Driggers, Krista Warko, Jathan Warko, Carl Williams, III, Ava Williams, Aubrey-Ann Williams, Ella Williams and Baby Lakelyn due in March.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Friday morning, February 2, 2024, from the graveside in Adnah United Methodist Churchyard, Adnah Church Road, Islandton. The Reverend Danny Fogle officiating.
