WALTERBORO:   William Andrew (Billy) White, husband of Rosalyn Dopson White, passed away Wednesday, July 12, at Veterans Victory House.  He was 83. Billy was born August 12, 1939 in Walterboro, a son of the late William Andrew White, Sr. and Margaret Marvin White.  He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and a graduate of Hendersonville High School.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a resident of Veterans Victory House for the past seven years. He had worked as a mechanic for the City of Walterboro and owned and operated Rainbow Daylily Gardens. Surviving besides his wife of 60 years are two daughters, Andrea Main (Steve) of Matthews, NC and Kimberly Bishop (Charles) of Asheville, NC, four grandchildren, Andrew Main (Kim), Paige Norton (Caylor), Adam Main and Lindsey Cone. There are also three great-grandchildren, Trinity, Autumn and Harper Norton, as well as a sister, Kaye White of Walterboro.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Zimlich and Kathy Rembert. Funeral services will be held privately.
