This week’s Spotlight is Olivia Ballew. Olivia is a native of Walterboro and attended Colleton County High School and is an active member of the Walterboro Church of God. Olivia is married to Tyler Ballew and has two children, Irwin and Noah.
Ballew was the store manager at IGA for eight years and upon the retirement of her boss, she elected to look at other career paths. After some prayer she ran into Brenda Eustace from Four Corners Financial and began her next step in life. She took her courses and her state exam, got her license to be an insurance agent and started her new job in August of 2023.
Olivia enjoys her job, she says, “I love it. I like being able to find a product will find a product that fits the client’s needs and not making the client fit the product.
Eustace says, “We’re just tickled pink to have Olivia because she just fits right in with us. She is a Christian and she wants to help people and that’s what we’re about.”
Bellew has hundreds of insurance companies that she can sell. With five or six major companies which are A plus rated.
Olivia has a number of interests outside of work, she likes to sew and also likes to bake with her specialties being cookies and cakes.
When asked what she would like to do if money and time were no object, she says, “I would live at Edisto Beach.”
