74, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, August 20, 2023, at Roper Hospital in Charleston. Born February 22, 1949, in Gainesville, Florida, he was the son of the late Gilbert Eugene Turner, Sr. and Eugenia Carter Turner. He was a retired commercial contractor. He enjoyed fishing and wood crafting. Surviving are: his wife of 38 years, Catherine McDonald Turner of Walterboro; children, Amanda Brooks DuBose and her husband Dale of Florence and Paul McArthur Brooks and his wife Elysia of Greenville; grandchildren, Reagan DuBose, Jack DuBose, Nathan Brooks, Anna Brooks, and Della Brooks; and his sister, Gilda Turner Barnwell.
