Mr. Damon Logan Tripp, 32, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 7, 2023, at his residence. Born May 26, 1991, in Beaufort, he was a son of Danny Lathon Tripp, Sr. and Vickie Lynn Payne Tripp. He loved swamp logging and was a skidder operator, having worked with many logging companies including Beasley Logging. He loved going to the beach, always enjoyed a good meal, and enjoyed working out at the gym. Most of all, Logan loved his family and looked forward each day to going home to be with his girls, who he treasured the most. Surviving are: his wife, Alicia Danielle Tripp of Ruffin; parents, Danny and Vickie Tripp of Ruffin; daughter, Laci Renee Tripp; brother, Lathon Tripp (Jordan) of Ruffin; grandmothers, Christine Payne of Walterboro and Liz Garris Tripp of Ruffin; niece and nephews, Tradd, John Andrew, Michael, and Lily; brothers-in-law, John Myers (Lauren) and Josh Myers (Blake); and a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:30, Saturday afternoon, August 12, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment followed in Tripp Family Cemetery in Ruffin.
