Mrs. Diane Robertson Smoak, 73, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, November 25, 2023, at her residence.
Born May 20, 1950, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Robertson and Bernice Hoff Robertson. She was a devoted and faithful member of North Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was dedicated to the work and ministry of her church and was especially involved in the Ladies Ministry and Nursing Home Ministry. She loved her family dearly and will always be remembered for her strong work ethic.
Surviving are: her husband, Reverend Roger Leon Smoak of Cottageville; children, Paula Barr and her husband Steve of Walterboro, William Hoff and his wife Amy of Greenville, Gail Marcum and her husband Greg of Hampton, Randall Warren and his wife Tonya of Cottageville, and Jason Warren and his wife Sharron of Cottageville; Roger’s children, Chris Smoak and his wife Christina, David Smoak and his wife Lori, and Angie Dantzler and her husband Jason; brother, Kenny Robertson and his wife Trisha of Cottageville; sisters, Marie Marion and her husband Russ of Cottageville and Darlene Winningham of Cottageville; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; as well as Roger’s 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services were held 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, December 2, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment followed in Gruber Cemetery, Round O.
