Mr. Gary Dale Salter, 71, of Summerville, died Sunday, at the Veteran’s Victory House.
Born August 30, 1952, in Fort Stewart, Georgia, he was the son of the late Norman Spencer Salter and Betty Jean Chapman Salter. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Surviving are: children, Michelle Trotter (Jack), Jerry Salter (Eileen), Adam Salter (Jenny), Elisabeth Webb, and Samantha Broach (Chris); 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and brother, Glen Salter (Karen). He was preceded in death by an infant son, Marcus Salter.
Graveside funeral services were held 12 noon, Monday, February 5, 2024, at Beaufort National Cemetery.
