Round O, South Carolina - Round O, SC. Deborah Kilmer (Klokner), age 56, passed away April 9, 2023, of metastatic cancer. Debbie attended Union Endicott High School, class of 1985, and Broome Community College, class of 1987. She received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Work from SUNY Brockport and a Master’s in Social Work from University of Buffalo in 1994. Debbie most recently worked for Coastal Empire Mental Health in Walterboro, SC.
Deborah met her husband, Tim Kilmer in high school. They always knew they would forever be a part of each other’s lives. Debbie and Tim remained friends for over 15 years and started dating in 1997. They got married on October 23, 1999.
Debbie loved the beach, she and Tim would often go and enjoy the sun and water, occasionally bringing their 3 large dogs with them.
Debbie had so many plans for the future. She wanted to return to work at Coastal Empire Mental Health as a mental health therapist. She had wanted to take a vacation to Italy and the Bahamas. Debbie had promised to visit her sister in Southern California and go to NASCAR in Las Vegas.
Deborah’s father, Joseph Klokner, passed away in June 2014 and her mother, Betty Klokner, passed away in June 2022. Debbie is survived by her husband, Tim Kilmer, and stepson, Tom Kilmer, also, her sister, Dolores Heitkamp, and brother, David Klokner.
Service will be Friday, June 9, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Southfork Baptist Church, Hodgenville, KY 42748. Where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Cancer Society.
