Mr. Thomas Christopher Hagan, affectionately known to everyone as “Chris”, 59, of Yemassee, entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his residence. Born April 25, 1965, in Walterboro, he was a son of Patricia Ann Moore Mathis and the late Thomas Theodore Hagan. He was a member of Yemassee Baptist Church. Chris possessed a strong and devoted work ethic, having over the years worked for Interstate Packers and also R and L Carriers. He loved being out on the water, fishing and shrimping. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, and especially loved No 3, Dale Earnhardt. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his sons. Surviving are: his mother, Mrs. Patsy Moore Mathis and her husband Lennard of Yemassee; step-father, Charles Ogden of Yemassee; sons, Thomas Hagan of Beaufort, Ryan Hagan of Aiken, and Christopher Lafontaine of Hampton; grandchildren, Adalynn, Isabella, Emmie, and Charlotte; and brothers, Richie Hagan and his wife Michelle of Yemassee and Timmy Ogden and his wife Audra of Beaufort. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, October 1, 2024, from the graveside at Ebeneezer Cemetery in Yemassee. The Reverend Heyward Evans officiating. The family will greet guests following the service by the graveside.
