David Belton Benton

Mr. David Belton Benton passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. He was 81.
Mr. Benton was born in Walterboro March 13, 1939 a son of the late David S. Benton and Gladys Smoak Benton. He was a former surveyor for J.O.Sanders Inc. and was a former truck driver for Island Construction. Mr. Benton was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Charlestown Longrifles Club.
He is survived by his sister, Theresa Benton Muse and by his brother Roy Allen Benton.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday morning, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 at the Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
