Mr. Willie Mizell Creel, 59, of Ridgeville, entered into eternal rest Monday evening, October 9, 2023.
Born October 21, 1963, in Colleton County, he was a son of Larmae Scott Creel and the late Willie Ray Creel. He was a retired carpenter and always did an amazing job on anything he was working on. He was a member of the Natchez-Kusso Edisto Tribe. Willie loved fishing and was a true comedian. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his mother, Larmae Creel of Ridgeville; children, Tiffany Ann Creel of Ridgeville, Gabriel William Creel of Ridgeville, and Cody Paul Creel of Summerville; grandchildren, Chancellor, Tá-Leah, La-Shawn, Gavin, C.J. and Zach; sister, Willie Jean Muckenfuss of Ridgeville; and brother, Donell Creel of Ridgeville. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Ray Creel; grandson, Draper Scott “D.J.” Daniels; and brother, Frankie Creel.
A graveside funeral service was held 4 o’clock, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 269 Eagle Drive, Ridgeville.
The family received friends for a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 3 o’clock, Saturday afternoon in the church sanctuary.
