Mr. Charles Richard “Ricky” Coker, 74, of Hanahan, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Saint Frances Hospital in Charleston. Born August 17, 1949, in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late William Washington Coker and the late Nettie Mae Kirby Coker. He was the owner of Coker Welding Service. Surviving are: wife, Beatrice Bazzle Coker; children, Richard Bryan Coker (Stacy), Denise Carol Coker, and Tanice Lane Thorn; brother, Jerry Coker; sister, Diane McKenzie; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Jean Moore. Funeral services were held 3pm, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
