Mrs. Debra Martin Bridge, 69, of Ridgeville, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, October 28, 2023, at Roper Hospital in Charleston. Born March 29, 1954, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Rollin McCloud Martin and Maude Taylor Martin.  She was a retired clerk from the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in St. George.  She was a member of Givhans Baptist Church, where she was on the Fellowship Committee and Floral Committee.  She dearly loved her church and her church family.  Debra loved going to the beach, country music and especially Alan Jackson, and was an avid Clemson Tiger fan.  She dearly loved her dog, “Chica”. Surviving are: her husband of 46 years, Merle Keith Bridge of Ridgeville; daughter, Karen Hand and her husband Kenneth of Cottageville; grandchildren, Makenzy, Kenneth Jr., Madison and Warren; sisters, Phyllis Bostick of James Island, Nancy Cullum and her husband Furman of Charleston, Eunice Prince and her husband Harold of Moncks Corner, and Mandy Hill and her husband Lester of Ridgeville; sisters-in-law, Sheila Martin of Givhans and Sylvia Martin of Mexico; brother-in-law, Eugene Lowery of Walterboro.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Mac Martin and Joey Martin; and sister, Bobbie Lowery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Givhans Baptist Church, 2140 Old Beech Hill Road, Ridgeville, South Carolina 29472. Funeral services were held 11 o’clock, Thursday morning, November 2, 2023, at Givhans Baptist Church, 2140 Old Beech Hill Road, Ridgeville. The Reverend Richard Clapp officiating.  Interment followed in Ackerman Cemetery at Red Oak, Red Oak Road, Cottageville.    The family received friends for a time of visitation Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at The Brice W.
