Mrs. Betty Ann Wilson, known by all as “Tina”, age 79, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday afternoon, August 27, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born May 6, 1942, in Queens New, York, a daughter of the late Gaetono Raimondi and the late May Throtz Raimondi, she made Walterboro her home in 1980. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.  Tina will always be remembered for her love of animals, a constant volunteer and foster care provider for the Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter. 

She is survived by her three children, James Wilsons and his wife Denise of Walterboro, David Wilson and his wife Tina of Walterboro and Sandra Wilson Limehouse and her husband Barry of Saint George; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.   She is also survived by her sisters, Elaine and Shirley and was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Raymond. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested those who wish, please make memorial contributions in her memory to ones animal shelter or society of choice.

When the current situation that exists with the novel coronavirus subsides, a celebration of her life will be held at the Limehouse Polo Grounds in Walterboro. Details will be released as plans are made.
