Benjamin Harris, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was 56.

He was the son of David Israel Harris and the late Inez (Sturman) Harris, born on July 27, 1964 in New York, NY.

Benjamin enjoyed working with his hands both in his profession as a mechanic and in his free time; he enjoyed sculpting art pieces, which are now being considered for submission to the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition. He took to the open road on motorcycles and had a passion for cars. He was known for his sense of humor and big heart. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

He is survived by his father David Harris, of Walterboro, SC; daughter Megan Hewat of North Carolina; step-children Linnea and Tori Cross both of Schenectady, NY; brother, Scott Harris of Walterboro, SC his twin sister, Leah Exner and her husband Paul of Woodbourne, NY; nieces and nephews Andrew Exner, Ashley Herbert and her husband Mike, Melinda Harris, Zev and Micah Adler and Brandon and Dakota Silvay; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Inez Harris, son Ben Harris, brother Raymond Harris and nephew David Harris.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Ulster Heights Methodist Cemetery with full military honors.
