 Vincent Everett “Skibo” Hughes passed away Tuesday night May 17, 2022.  He was 59.  

“Skibo” was born in Charleston January 28, 1963 a son of the late Everett Isaac Hughes and Barbara Ann Carson Hughes.  He was a well known cook for Cracker Barrel in Walterboro for many years. “Skibo” was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Carolina Panthers, and he loved music.  He was a devoted son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his sisters Priscilla Hughes Rogers (Billy) and Juanita Hughes Hunt (Jimmy), both of Ruffin.  He leaves behind his nieces and nephews that he loved and adored:  Brent Rogers, Cameron Rogers, Cody Hunt, Bonnie Hunt and Caitlin Hunt.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening, May 25, 2022 at 6:00 in the Chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.  The family will receive friends until 8:00.  Committal services will be held privately.
