Paws Fundraiser Outcome the Best Ever

Posted

Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter (FoCCAS) held its 13th Annual Paws Fundraiser on Saturday, March 2nd at The South Forty in Round O, SC.  FoCCAS President, Jeannette Neal, said “We are extremely grateful to all event sponsors, donors, auction and raffle winners, ticket purchasers, volunteers, and all who participated in any way. You are most appreciated and helped make this our best event ever!”   She went on to thank The South Forty (Tammy Varn, Lynn Beach, and Jim Driggers) for hosting; Jimmy Fitts Catering for the delicious food and all other vendors for their donations and support; and to the shelter staff, ACOs, volunteers, veterinarians, transporters, adopters, and rescue partners that continue the lifesaving work for the animals!

FoCCAS would like to thank the amazing fifty plus event sponsors and over 150 auction item donors from individuals and businesses in Colleton and the surrounding Lowcountry that made this year’s event the most successful Paws event in the history of the non-profit.  The event sold out with over 300 ticket purchases!

FoCCAS is a 501c3 non-profit charity that supports the homeless animals at the Colleton County Animal Shelter through fundraising, volunteer support, education, and other efforts to reduce the population of unwanted pets.  They also supply six local food pantries with dog and cat food to help pets in need.

Information on donating money or items for the shelter pets can be found on the FoCCAS website at foccas-sc.org.
