One person is dead after a shooting on Beulah Road in Lodge Tuesday night at 10:52 p.m.
On Tuesday June 30, Colleton County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Beulah Road in Lodge in reference to a shooting incident. Once on scene, deputies observed an individual who sustained at least one gunshot wound. That individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the incident, additional individuals were observed fleeing the scene on foot. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from SLED, set up a perimeter and searched the area but didn’t find anyone else.
This investigation remains open and active. Therefore, further information is limited at this time.
