Smoaks - Mrs. Syble Adkins Lyons, 83, of Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning, August 21, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Gene Ritter Lyons. Born February 7, 1941, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Adkins and Hattie Mitchum Adkins. She was a member of Buckhead Advent Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and making crafts, but most of all loved her family and was a loving wife and wonderful mother. Surviving are: her children, Haley Walker of Smoaks, Roger Walker and his wife Mysti of Bonneau, Lora Hutto and her husband Marty of Orangeburg, Kathy Hayes and her husband Steve of Virginia, Robbin Bise of Tennessee, and Billy Cain and his wife Nicole of Ruffin; sister, Betty Sanders of Charleston; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Geno Cain; 2 grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and 7 brothers and sisters.
