Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

Colleton County, S.C. — A 30-year-old Allendale man has been taken into custody following a multi-agency investigation into a series of recent armed robberies across the Lowcountry. Detectives from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the Hampton City Police Department, the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office jointly apprehended the suspect Thursday evening.

Aaron Davon Bush, 30, is currently being held at the Allendale County Detention Center. CCSO Detectives are awaiting his extradition to Colleton County, where he will face two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and four counts of Kidnapping related to the armed robberies at the Family Dollar at Bell’s Crossroads and Dollar General at Snider’s Crossroads in Colleton County. He is also facing similar charges in multiple other jurisdictions.

Sheriff Buddy Hill expressed his gratitude to all partner agencies for their support and collaboration.
