Shirley Jane Nettles Wiggins, 77, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, September 26, 2026, at Trident Medical Center.
Born August 2, 1949, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Louie Ladine Nettles and Argenia Lyons Nettles Langdale. She enjoyed crabbing, loved her animals, and especially loved her family and spending time with them. She was also extremely proud that she received a machinist certificate from Trident Technical College.
Surviving are: her daughters, Genia Vaughan of Walterboro and Robin Scott of Louisiana; grandchildren, Argenia Vaughan, Jason Wade, John Aaron Wilson and Skyler Scott; great-grandchildren, Aaron Khadam, Alex Khadam, and Graham Wilson; and nieces and nephews, Angela Albramo Miller, Casey Albramo Tiani, NabeelSabbagh, Jr., David Nettles, Liz Nettles, and Kevin Nettles. She was preceded in death by her son, John Wade; great granddaughter, Alayah Nicole Scharer; sister, Rita Nettles Sabbagh; brother, Edwin “Dinkie” Nettles; niece, Christina Marie Hughes; and nephew, Louie Nettles.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, October 3, 2026, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
