WA’s Fish Wings is opening in February.
Located next to Wendy’s on Jefferies Highway, the restaurant, owned and operated locally by William Huang and the Ni family, WA’s Fish Wings sells what is called “the perfect bar food.”
Fish wings are chicken wings served in a marinated fish sauce with brown sugar and chili garlic sauce.
According to everyone who loves chicken wings, the fish wings are sticky and tasty.
The WA’s Fish Wing restaurant in the former the Kentucky Fried Chicken building has been under renovation for the last several months. The empty restaurant needed a lot of attention and refurbishing. Renovating the old structure has been difficult and time consuming, but owners say that the results are worth it, and it’s great to see these old, used buildings being recycled.
A grand opening will be planned in several months so everyone can see the renovations. But in the meantime, next month chicken wing connoisseurs can experience what is enjoyed in many other states and towns … fish wings.
