Colleton Prep used a 19-point 4th quarter to defeat Carolina Academy. The Hawks found themselves losing 21-6 at halftime before controlling the second half. Carolina controlled the first half and scored three touchdowns.
The War Hawks were led by Caleb Davis who had 227 rushing yards on 29 carries and scored two touchdowns. Cole Davis would rush for 55 yards on 9 carries and a touchdown. Walker Bryan added 36 yards on 6 carries.
With the win the War Hawks improved to 6-3 and 1-1 in the region. This was a big win for the War Hawks to keep a home playoff game possible.
The War Hawks will host Beaufort Academy in an important game with the winner getting the inside track to hosting a home game in the playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:30.
