The Colleton Civic Center’s Hampton Street Auditorium was filled to capacity as the Colleton County Children’s Theatre presented their production of Willie Wonka Jr. From every Oompa Lumpa to the spoiled golden ticket winners, every one of the cast of 85 local students gave the audience a show to be remembered. Grady Nettles, portraying Willie Wonka, has the audience spellbound with his performance. The CCCT performed two school shows on Thursday, September 10th, and general admission shows on September 12th and 13th. The cast had been rehearsing all summer to present the Roald Dahl classic. From the music to the beautiful sets, the show left the audience of over 1500 over the three-day run ready for next year's show.
