Walterboro Lions Club hold Monthly Meeting

The Walterboro Lions Club held its monthly meeting on May 8th at 1:00 PM. The meeting held at Dukes Bar B Que was called to order by Vice President Bob Pence. The meeting began with the singing of “My County tis of Thee” and the Pledge of Allegiance followed by prayer. David Dodd introduced the guest speaker Shawn Lyons of Coastal Electric Cooperative. The group also heard an update on the Rice Festival and heard a review of the Lion’s eye screening program.

The Lion’s Club is made up of 1.4 million members in 49,000 clubs who bring hands and hearts to the communities we serve in nearly every country on earth. Our Lions and Leos help hundreds of millions of people every year.
