PRESS RELEASE. Sophomore Guard D.J. Sinkler was named to the 2021-22 NJCAA Division I Men’s Basketball All-American Team (honorable mention) and First Team All-Region 10.
All-America selections are made by the NJCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee and recognizes the top 50 NJCAA Division I players nationally. Sinkler averaged 17.3 points per game this season for the Indians.
“We are extremely proud of .DJ. and all that he accomplished while he was a member of our team. The fact that he is being recognized as an All-American speaks volumes about his ability and about his value to our team,” Bennett said. “I am even more proud of the way he developed as a leader for us. His attitude and work ethic made him an absolute pleasure to coach.”
Sinkler plans to continue his basketball career at Tusculum.
