A suspect wanted for murder in Colorado was apprehended October 29th and subsequently detained at the Colleton County Detention Center. Due to an issue with the warrant issued from law enforcement agencies in Colorado, the suspect had to be released.
As of November 7th, the warrant out of Colorado was updated and Chief James Mitchell of the Cottageville Police Department has apprehended the subject for a second time. Currently the suspect is detained at the Colleton County Detention Center awaiting extradition.
