An adult driver was seriously injured Thursday morning, April 30th , in a single car accident on Green Pond Hwy near Cyrus Lane. The driver advised she swerved to avoid a deer causing her SUV to roll over. Bystanders indicated the driverwas ejected from the car which received heavy damage. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated her at the scene then transported her to CARE Flight where she was transferred to the Flight Crew and flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in North Charleston. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
