The Turtle Tide Art Project has returned to the Town of Edisto Beach. The town has been “invaded” by 10 unadorned turtles decorated by local artists. The turtles were revealed June 1 and will be placed around Edisto Beach to be discovered by local and tourists alike. The Turtle Tide Auction will be held October 12 during the Fall Festival and the turtles will go to their forever home. Proceeds from the auction will benefit local business, artist, and local non-profit organizations associated with each turtle. From now until the auction the turtles will be placed around Edisto and if you find all 10 turtles, take a photo with each one, and tag it to #EdistoTurtleTide you have a chance to win a prize.
