Class of 2021
Personal Goal: I hope to achieve not only a winning season, but to also enjoy my last year on the Colleton Prep Varsity tennis team.
Role Model: My mom has made a big impact on my life. Whether it be work, school, sports, or in between, she always sets a good example and has raised me to set goals and exhibit leadership.
On balancing academics and athletics: I always put school before sports, so I manage my schoolwork as best as possible by getting it completed in advance of my athletic events.
Favorite Book: “Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream” by Buzz Bissinger
Thoughts on COVID-19: I believe that COVID-19 has ripped away part of the “experience” that a senior should experience, but I am trying to make the best of what is given to me. Sports and school have definitely changed, but I am ultimately grateful that I can be at school and enjoy sports.

Personal Goal: To be a leader to the younger players on the team.
Role Model(s): My parents are my role models because even in a bad situation they have always taught me there is a bright side to everything.
On balancing academics and athletics: I think academics should always come before sports, so I try to get all my schoolwork done before I have a match or practice.
Favorite Book: “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak
Thoughts on COVID-19: I think the virus has made everyone appreciate sports a lot more along with the opportunity to be playing now.
