An 18-year-old male received a life-threatening gunshot wound in an incident near Ramsey Hill Road Friday evening, October 6. Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to a residence near the end of Ramsey Hill Road after several hang up calls were made to 9-1-1. They found an 18 yr. old male lying in the yard with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. Firefighter-Paramedics to respond to the scene. Fire-Rescue crews found the male in critical condition and began treating his injuries. The patient was flown to a Trauma Center in the Charleston. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
