Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery Case

Authorities have arrested Aaron Davon Bush, (30), in connection with the Family Dollar, Bells Crossroad and Dollar General, Snider’s Crossroad robberies. Bush is currently being held in the Allendale County Detention Center. Detectives from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office are awaiting his extradition to Colleton County. Once in Colleton County he will be charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and four counts of Kidnapping. He is also facing similar charges in multiple jurisdictions.

Bush’s arrest was the result of a multi-agency investigation into a series of armed robberies across the Lowcountry. Detectives form the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Hampton City Police Department, the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office and the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office jointly apprehended the suspect Thursday Evening, December 4th.

Sheriff Buddy Hill said, “We appreciate the outstanding teamwork displayed by SLED, the Hampton City Police Department, the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office and the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office.” Hill continued, “This case reached a timely and successful conclusion thanks to the dedication and cooperation of all involved.”
