Student-athletes earn Region 10 All-Academic honors

The University of South Carolina Salkehatchie is pleased to announce that 39 of its student-athletes have been awarded Region 10 All-Academic honors during the 2022-23 academic year. To receive All-Academic honors, student-athletes must participate in a sport and achieve a 3.0 grade point average while passing 12 credit hours in the semester.

“Such an accomplishment is a testament to the level of commitment these student-athletes have demonstrated to academic excellence while also representing USC Salkehatchie on the field/court of play,” Director of Athletics Jeremy Joye said.

The student-athletes recognized are:

Women’s Soccer: Yulissa Benitez, Hannah Halavin, September Bowen, Treviana Smalls, Jordyn James, Grace Kurus, and Adriana Watson.

Men’s Soccer: Valerii Burlacenco, Eduardo Clavier, Jahmai Dixon, Guiherme Gouvea, Jermaine Johnson, Safari Kashindi, Tastroy Malcolm, Fabian Martinez, Alphonso Moni, Lucas Montandon, Granville Ricketts, and Dontae Thorpe.

Women’s Volleyball: Tamyra Hunt and Jessica Fluharty.

Baseball: Banks Munn, Gavin Phillips, Aiden Pomnitz, Luis Quinones, Mackenzie Ritter, Christian Order, Caleb Shealy, Solomon Stullenbarger, Andrew Thomas, Blake Williams, Christopher Boutwell, Noah Brown, Thomas Dantzler, Alex Harvey, Johnny Hedges, Rylee Hoeller, Evan Kraus and Coleman Montgomery.
