Six people were injured, including an eight-year-old child, in a two-car wreck in the 2700 block of Robertson Boulevard at Poplar Street just before 3 p.m. on July 4. Both cars were traveling south on Robertson Boulevard.
All six people were treated at the scene by firefighter-paramedics with four transported to Colleton Medical Center for further treatment. Two people denied transport to the hospital. All injuries were non-life threatening.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic. Traffic was detoured for about 45 minutes.
