The USC Salkehatchie men’s basketball team remains perfect at home after defeating Franklin Prep, 81-66. Overall, Salkehatchie is 8 – 5 on the season.
In the first half, USC Salkehatchie controlled the game buzzer to buzzer, taking a 37-24 lead into halftime. The game was back and forth throughout the second half as Salkehatchie went deep into its bench, utilizing all 12 available players.
Salkehatchie continues to have a strong performance in Region 10, ranking first in defensive FG% (39.2), rebound margin (18.6) and assists per game (18.7).
The Indians will take on Cape Fear Community College at its next home game on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. The community is encouraged to come out and pack the stands as Salkehatchie continues its quest to remain undefeated at home.
