Rock-In the Holidays

The City of Walterboro is pleased to announce a series of holiday events scheduled for the 2021 Holiday Season. Rock-In the Holidays on the Front Porch of the Lowcountry will be held throughout the month of December 2021 with these headlining events.

• The City of Walterboro Tree Lighting and Parade will be held Thursday December 2

• The Colleton Museum & Farmer’s Market will hold a Frosty Food Truck Friday on Friday December 3

• The Colleton Museum & Farmer’s Market will hold their annual Holiday Market Saturday December 4

• The Colleton Museum & Farmer’s Market will hold the Teddy Bear Breakfast Saturday December 4

• The Colleton County Historic and Preservation Society Hanging of the Greens will be Sunday December 12

• The City of Walterboro will have Santa’s Cruise through Walterboro Thursday December 16

The Walterboro Tourism Department is packaging all these events together to Rock-In the Holidays and will be promoting family friendly, fun filled events to residents all over the Lowcountry region. In addition, the tourism department invites your organization to be a part of the festivities by contributing your event dates to the full event calendar. The calendar will cover the entire holiday season and will be promoted all over Walterboro and Colleton County.

“The holidays are a great time to promote Walterboro as a one of a kind shopping, dining and historical destination. Coordinating efforts and combining existing events into one larger initiative not only increases the opportunity to draw visitors to the city to boost our economy, it encourages our businesses and residents to work together towards a common goal,” said tourism director Madison Terrry.
