Ritter Community Revitalization Project (RCRP)

The Ritter Community Revitalization Project celebrated its 5th annual fall fest, and it was certainly a blast. The Ritter Community residents celebrated with lots of delicious food, old fashioned hayrides, motorcycle, and 4-wheeler rides. The children of all ages enjoyed the jump castle with a slide and all ages enjoyed the Corn hole game. The community residents were favored with the presence of Colleton County Council members Mr. Phillip Taylor, Mr. Bubba Trippe and Mr. Scott Biering. Also, Colleton Sheriff Department Corporal James Brown and Colleton Fire & Rescue were all in attendance. South Carolina State University was well represented by Ms. Latarsha Gibson, who introduced opportunities for current and future educational endeavors. The community residents met Mr. Clarence Wiggins the Colleton County Democratic Party Chairman. The RCRP executive and support staff did a very professional and outstanding job in all their efforts to put together the RCRP 5th annual fall fest event. The executive staff also recognized one of the community super seniors, Mr. Willie Shark 95, for all his great contributions to the community. Finally, we give special thanks to our local churches for their representation and contribution to the Ritter Community; Elizabeth COOLJC, Cumberland UMC, Isaiah UMC, St Paul AME, and St. John UMC
