Pomega Energy Storage through its parent company Kontolmatik Technologies is on schedule building the lithium-ion battery factory located in Colleton County. The factory is in Colleton Industrial Campus just of Exit 62 on I-95 and McLeod Road. The company will be manufacturing lithium-ion batteries as well as other energy storage solutions. Construction is scheduled to be finished by the end of the third quarter of 2024 with the beginning operations to begin thereafter.
