The P.E.P. Club had their annual White Elephant Sale at the September meeting. Club president Norma Weeks auctioned off what the members brought to sell. Everyone will agree she is no Jimmy Blocker, but she is loud.

All of the money made during the year is donated to three local charities in December.

Club member, Joanne Etchieson, brought a candy jar filled with assorted candy and a beautiful autumn design on top for the members to guess how many pieces were in the jar. The one coming the closest without going over won the jar of candy.

In October the club has their annual picnic outdoors at the picnic shed, if weather permits. If not, it will be indoors as usual. Hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings will be served. Anyone who wants to can dress for the Halloween season, and will be judged for best costume.

The P.E.P. Club is a senior club for anyone over 50 that meets the last Tuesday of each month at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area at 12:00. Lunch is served and a program presented. Free door prizes are given and bingo is played.

Your first visit is free, and if you decide to join the annual dues are $5.00.
