Colleton’s annual non-profit fundraiser that helps raise funds for homeless animals has been scheduled for Mar. 6.

Paws at the Plantation is an annual event sponsored by Friends of the Colleton County Animal Shelter (FoCCAS). Every year, friends, families, food, fun and furry friends are a part of the gathering used to raise funds for the animal shelter.

This year, Paws at the Plantation will be held in Round O at the South 40 Plantation, located at 665 Benjamin Road on Saturday March 6, 2021, from 4 p.m.– 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via Eventbrite online at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/142624883867. You can also get your tickets for Paws at the Plantation at Island Tan and Treasure Chest. Because of Covid, it will be a drive by. Call 843-549-5111 or 843-549 2203.

Due to the pandemic, the group will offer to-go plates only. Tickets are for take-away plates featuring BBQ, hash and rice, grilled chicken quarters, mac and cheese, green beans, roll and dessert by caterer Jimmy Fitts.

FoCCAS is also holding a live and silent auction simultaneously. The silent auction began on Feb. 28, but will continue and end on March 6, event day. The silent auction then goes live at 7 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. on March 6.
