Charles Edward Parrott, 72, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, October 26, 2023, at NHC of Charleston. Born July 27, 1951, in Lake City, Florida, he was a son of the late Julian Joseph Parrott, Sr., and Adabell Sapp Parrott. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked at Charlie’s Small Engine. He loved the outdoors and fishing and always enjoyed going out and being on the go. Surviving are: his wife of 26 years, Karen Preacher Parrott of Walterboro; son, Brad Godley (Emma) of Walterboro; granddaughter, Ansely Mae Godley; brother, H.J. Parrott; mother-in-law, Pauline Preacher; sister-in-law, Ellen Preacher; and brothers-in-law, Harold Preacher and Wayne Preacher. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Casey Darlene Parrott. Graveside funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Monday, October 30, 2023, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Grove Road, Walterboro.
