One Injured in Bee Street Shooting

An adult male was injured in a shooting incident on Bee Street Tuesday evening, October 14th. A press release from the Colleton County Sheriff’s Department stated that at 9:16pm, deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that an adult male had been shot at a residence on Bee Drive. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the arm. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene, then transported him to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in North Charleston. the Sheriff’s Department says that this appears to be an isolated, targeted incident and there is no indication of a random threat to the public at this time. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the Bee Drive area and surrounding streets to review any home surveillance footage from October 14, between 7:30pm and 9:30pm for any suspicious activity.
