Nova Church took clothing donations for a year, collecting all sizes and genders of clothing, as well as stuffed animals and shoes. Families took home bag after bag of the clothing, especially infant and children’s clothes. Leftover clothing was taken to In His Name Ministries for the Colleton Shelter of Hope. “Many families were blessed with free clothing,” said Stephanie Coker. One lady contacted Nova’s pastor, Dr. Zane Brown, and said, “Thank you for the clothes! I took the clothes home and gave them to my kids … it was like Christmas morning!”
