New Grace United Methodist Church to celebrate 19th Anniversary Weekend

The New Grace Family invites the community to join us for our 19th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, beginning on Saturday, March 16, and concluding on Sunday, March 17. The Theme is “Grow in Grace” (2 Peter 3:18). All activities will be held at The Outreach Center, 130 Infinger Road, St. George. Rev. Constance Barnes McLeod of Walterboro is the host pastor.

The celebration begins on Saturday at 7 am with registration for the Wellness Walk. There will be GirlTrek presentation, food, games, and entertainment with the Lowcountry Scootin’ Boots of Walterboro as our featured guest.

Sunday Morning Worship Service is at 10 am with the Anniversary Celebration conclusion at 4 pm. The guest preacher for the 4 pm service is the Rev. Leonard Huggins, Jr., and the Shady Grove UM Church Family.

Rev. Huggins is a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, Cope, S.C., and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Claflin University, Orangeburg, S.C., and a Master of Divinity Degree from Gammon Theological Seminary, ITC, Atlanta, Georgia. He did further studies at East Tennessee State University toward his Doctorate Degree, in Education & Administration. He is an ordained Elder in Full Connection in the South Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
